The adapter fitting is mainly used for:
l Connect the hydraulic oil hose to the equipment interface
l Convert between different screw thread standards
l Facilitates the disassembly, assembly and maintenance of the pipelines
Common types include:
l Straight adapter: Two straight lines connected at both ends, the most commonly used.

l Elbow adapter: 45° or 90° elbow, used in areas with limited space.
l Tee adapter: T-shaped branch, used for dividing the oil circuit.

The thread standard of adapter fitting is one of the most crucial parameters in the selection process. The mainstream standards include the following three systems:
Ø Metric thread (M thread)
Metric threads are the mainstream standard in domestic industrial equipment and are widely used in domestic construction machinery, machine tools, and injection molding machines.
Ø British thread (G thread)
The British thread is mainly suitable for pneumatic tools and some imported equipment from Europe and America. It is also widely used in pneumatic systems and hydraulic return oil hoses.
Ø American thread (NPT thread)
NPT refers to conical hose thread, which has self-sealing properties and is a standard for American hydraulic systems.
