What are the precautions for connecting the oil pipe

When connecting oil pipes, pay attention to the following points.

First, avoid impact and dropping the oil pipe joints during transportation and storage to prevent damage to the interfaces and internal components. During installation, ensure that the installation is concentric to the machine to ensure proper operation of the rotary joint. For threaded rotary joints, ensure that the threads of the inner and outer pipes align with the direction of rotation of the drum, and that the threads of the inner and outer pipes are aligned.

Second, the oil pipe joints must be connected to the pipeline using flexible hoses, such as highly resistant metal hoses. Rigid connections are prohibited. It is best to connect the joint inlet and outlet directly to the hose to reduce the load on the joint and extend its service life.

Finally, when assembling the inner pipe, pay attention to dimensional matching and weight support. For internally rotating rotary joints, the inner pipe and joint fit within a tolerance of H8/e7. When installing the oil pipe joint, the bolts should extend to the outside of the joint and tighten evenly with a standard wrench. Avoid using a booster to prevent joint problems. Regular inspections are also required to prevent loosening that could cause valve disc detachment or water leakage. Next, before installation, select the appropriate model based on the pipeline's operating pressure, connection method, media, and compensation. Increase the number of fittings based on noise reduction and displacement requirements. Before pressurizing the oil pipe joints, such as after installation or after long-term sealing, tighten the bolts under pressure and pay attention to pressure adjustment. If the pipeline's instantaneous pressure exceeds the operating pressure, select an oil pipe joint with a gear ratio higher than the operating pressure.

In addition, standard water is a common medium, while 0-60°C is suitable for special media. For high-rise water supply or suspended water supply, the pipeline should be fixed to a hanger, bracket, or anchor. The joints should not be subjected to deadweight or axial forces; otherwise, protective devices should be installed. If pipeline displacement is greater than or equal to the compensation of the oil pipe joint, increase the number of fittings to keep them parallel to the displacement. Never adjust the pipe beyond the tolerance range, which could cause the oil pipe joint to bend, displace, or deflect.

Finally, when using oil pipe joints, do not use them for fluids other than those for which they are intended, do not exceed the maximum operating pressure limit, and do not use them outside the operating temperature range to avoid wear and leakage of the sealing material. Do not hit, bend or stretch it manually, and do not use it in places mixed with metal powder or sand dust to prevent malfunction or leakage.
